The Canyon Day Community proudly invites everyone to the 2026 Canyon Day Open Show Fair & Rodeo, taking place May 1–3, for an unforgettable weekend filled with excitement, tradition, and community pride. This beloved annual event brings together thrilling rodeo action, a lively micro carnival, and a vibrant Community Parade that proudly showcases the spirit, culture, and unity of our people.
Nestled on the White Mountain Apache Reservation just south of Whiteriver, the Canyon Day Community has long stood as a pillar of strength, resilience, and collaboration. Known for its deep-rooted commitment to serving its residents, Canyon Day continues to foster opportunities that celebrate our heritage while bringing families and visitors together in meaningful ways.

The Canyon Day Open Show Rodeo first began in the early 1990s and quickly became a treasured tradition that proudly kicks off the rodeo season in the White Mountains. Over the years, it has grown into one of the area’s most anticipated gatherings, drawing competitors, families, and spectators from across the region. The event celebrates not only the excitement of rodeo competition but also the enduring values of community, culture, and Apache pride.
